Vida Beach Resort Umm Al Quwain
This heritage focussed artwork selection gave 17A the opportunity to go back in time with an edgy and fresh approach to representing the region. Taking many weeks of research and site analysis, the resultant artworks explore Umm al Quwain and the special story of the Emirate; from the pottery era to the nature of mangroves. 17A has explored the seaside, deserts and mangroves of UAQ, meeting fishermen, artists, potters and craft women to get inspiration from local surroundings and culture. These adventures have given us the opportunity to incorporate meaning and integrity from UAQ into each artwork.
